Constuction

All Liken skis are elaborated with a sandwich  construction structure, including a reinforced bristle core with glass fibers to ensure excellent behavior and mechanical properties.

WOODEN CORE

Built 100% from high quality wood, consisting of lengthwise curved ash-shaped slats. The ash is characterized by high elastic properties, hardness and durability.

BASE

Isosport 7518 sintered ski base. Ultra-lightweight molecular polyurethane (UHMW-PE) with high crystallinity and high carbon content (18%) to improve the properties of laminate, slip and durability.

The base carries a cross-sectional structure, customizable on request at no additional cost.

EDGES

Steel edges of 2mm thick with pre-surface treatment to minimize oxidation.

Standard angle: tuning at 1º and lateral 88º (customizable on request without additional cost).

SURFACE WOODEN VENEER

Surface finish of squash in natural wood veneer. The type of wood and the final finish can be chosen from the following standard wood types: bamboo, oak, teak, boj-olivo and wenge.

ILLUSTRATIONS

Possibility of incorporating graphics or illustrations, on the ski surface. We work with digital wood marquetry combining different types of wood to maintain the quality and elegance of the skis.

TRIAXIAL GLASS FIBRE

Triaxial glass fiber for the structural reinforcement of the ski, in order to extend the elastic limits.

UNIAXIAL GLASS FIBRE

In certain models, and according to the client’s needs, it is complemented by a second layer of low-density uniaxial fiberglass.

RUBBER TAPE

Rubber tape to reduce vibrations and stress caused by dilation of the edge and the rest of the ski.

RESINS

Epoxy resin of two SUPER SAP® CLR composites with a mixture that contains renewable bio-based waste materials from other industrial processes, such as the production of biofuels and wood pulp.  The epoxy is stabilized for water, transparent and resistant to UV radiation.
